Instructions

How to use: Set Up The Slideshow Screen Place the Citrus Media HUD Screen where you wish to display the media. The screen MUST have the same owner as the land parcel that it stands on. If this is Group owned land, then Deed the screen to the same Group as the land as follows: Right click Edit the screen. Make sure the "More >>" options are available and go to the General tab. Below the line showing "Owner" is the "Group" setting. Make sure the "Group" matches the land owning Group, using the "Set" button to change it if needed (If you rezzed the screen with the same Group as the land as your active Group tag then this will automatically match). Click in the "Share with group" to place a tick there and then click the "Deed" button next to it. The screen will now be owned by the Group you previously set. Set Up The Media HUD Either rez the HUD on the ground, or Wear it. Right click on it and choose Edit on the pie menu. Make sure the "More >>" options are available and go to the Contents tab. Open the "Urls" notecard in the HUD Contents and,for each url you wish to use, add a title and the texture name as follows: URL name = http://www.website.com The names may not include commas. Once you have saved the Urls notecard, close the edit window. If you rezzed the HUD, Take it back into your inventory and Wear it. Using The HUD On wearing the HUD it will load all the urls in the notecard. To start the HUD system, click the power button so it turns green. You can now select from your preloaded urls by clicking the Urls button and choosing from the drop down menu. To show the media url on the screen, click the play button. Everyone on the same parcel, with the Play button on their Second Life® client software selected will now be able to view the media on the screen. Using the HUD buttons, you can pause or stop the media. Stopping will set a movie stream back to the beginning. To change the media being played, press the Urls button and choose a new url to be played. It will automatically load and should play. If it does not, click Play.
